SHANGHAI, September 18, 2026 - At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai, Sunline takes banking intelligence beyond the transaction core, focusing on how core modernization, intelligent applications and AI-powered engineering are beginning to converge as banks move into the Agentic era. The direction reflects a broader shift in banking technology, where modernizing the core is increasingly connected with how banks use data, deploy AI and evolve complex technology environments.
This convergence is reflected in Sunline’s Agentic Banking Architecture, which connects capabilities across the banking technology stack, from transaction processing and data intelligence to AI-driven applications and software engineering.
From Core Banking Modernization to Agentic Banking
The architecture is structured around three mutually reinforcing capabilities: Modern Core, Data Core and AI Coding. Together, they connect trusted transaction processing with real-time intelligence, AI-driven action and technology evolution.
Modern Core, powered by SunCBS and APStack, provides the cloud-native transaction foundation for mission-critical banking. Data Core, built around DataMind, DStack and AIS, connects banking data with enterprise AI and agent orchestration to support intelligent applications across business, operations and technology. AI Coding, supported by Luban AI Platform, SunTCR and AI-assisted engineering capabilities, applies intelligence to code understanding, knowledge generation and software engineering, helping development teams understand complex systems and deliver change more efficiently.
Together, the three capabilities form a continuous intelligence loop of Transact, Understand, Act and Evolve, connecting banking operations with the intelligence and engineering capabilities required for continuous modernization.

Sunline engages with global banking customers at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026.
Sunline and Huawei continue to deepen their partnership across banking modernization, AI innovation and international market development, bringing together complementary technology, industry expertise and implementation experience to support financial institutions across global markets. The collaboration is developing alongside Huawei’s broader financial AI and partner ecosystem. At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei introduced its Fintelligent AI Solution, built on the financial-grade open-source agent platform openJiuwen, to support the development and scaled deployment of production-grade AI agents in financial services. Huawei is also continuing to expand its Ronghai global financial partner ecosystem, bringing together technology, solution and implementation partners to accelerate innovation across international financial markets. Sunline participates in this ecosystem as a long-standing Huawei financial technology partner.
At the Banking Core Application Modernization & Intelligence Partner Roundtable, Sunline joined Huawei and ecosystem partners for discussions around Core Banking modernization, Agent Core and AI Coding, and how these capabilities are shaping the next phase of banking technology.
“Core modernization is increasingly connected with advances in data, AI and software engineering. By deepening our collaboration with Huawei, we aim to bring these capabilities together across the banking technology stack and apply our combined technology and implementation experience in more international markets.” said Jack.

Jack Wang, General Manager of New Markets at Sunline International, discusses the expansion of Sunline and Huawei’s technology collaboration across international markets.
The partnership also extends into the evolving software engineering ecosystem. During the Banking AI Innovation Practice Forum, Sunline joined Huawei and industry partners in the joint launch of the AI Coding Training Program, supporting wider collaboration around AI-enabled software engineering, engineering practices and talent development.

AI is also beginning to influence how mission-critical banking systems are developed, optimized and continuously evolved. At the Global Compute Forum for the Agentic AI Era, Simon Lai, Principal Solution Architect of Sunline, shared Sunline’s engineering practices for accelerating bank core system iteration within the Kunpeng ecosystem. Through microservices architecture and containerized deployment, Sunline enabled closer real-time coordination between transaction and data processing capabilities. In tested banking scenarios, transaction throughput increased by 15% for deposit transactions and 22% for transfer transactions, demonstrating the potential of tighter application and infrastructure optimization for high-volume core banking workloads.

Built on Kunpeng, Sunline’s APStack platform supports cloud-native application deployment, while integration with Huawei DevKit enables code compatibility optimization and performance tuning. In separate tested scenarios, Huawei DevKit supported a 19% improvement in development efficiency and up to 25% improvement in system performance. Together, these results illustrate how closer coordination across applications, engineering tools and computing infrastructure can reduce the effort required for system change while strengthening the performance and adaptability of mission-critical banking environments.

Simon also joined global technology and industry leaders at the launch of the Open Compute Elite Club, initiated by the Global Computing Consortium to encourage greater collaboration across the open computing ecosystem.
Today, Sunline serves more than 60 overseas financial institutions across over 10 countries and regions, with experience supporting banks across diverse regulatory, technology and business environments. This international footprint continues to shape how Sunline approaches the next generation of banking technology, with a strong focus on practical innovation that can adapt to different markets.
HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 provides a global platform for Sunline to connect this experience with the wider evolution of Agentic AI, from financial applications and software engineering to computing infrastructure and ecosystem collaboration.
As intelligence moves deeper into banking technology, Sunline will continue to work with Huawei, financial institutions and ecosystem partners to bridge proven banking technology with emerging intelligence and turn the possibilities of the Agentic era into practical capabilities for banks worldwide.
