On September 16, the 2025 Digital Ecosystem Development Conference and “Foundation Plan” Mid-Year Meeting was successfully held in Beijing. At the event, Sunline was recognized for its outstanding performance in big data and AI, earning a place in the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) 2025 Mid-Year “High-Quality Digital Transformation Typical Cases” and “High-Quality Digital Transformation Technology Solution Collection”. Sunline also made it into the “Panoramic Map of High-Quality Digital Transformation Products and Services (First Half of 2025)” across five key segments, with its technical strength and practical capabilities certified by a national authoritative institution.

Yantai Bank × Sunline

The Only Banking Data Case Recognized

At the conference, the project “DataOps Empowering Yantai Bank to Build a High-Quality Intelligent Data Hub”, jointly developed by Sunline, was honored as one of CAICT’s “High-Quality Digital Transformation Typical Cases (First Half of 2025)”. It was the only banking data-related case selected, highlighting its innovation and representativeness in the digital transformation of the banking sector.

Currently, banks are accelerating transformation towards “online, intelligent, and data-driven” operations. Against this backdrop, Yantai Bank regards efficient management and deep mining of data assets as a core element of competitiveness. Together with Sunline, the bank launched a lakehouse-integrated intelligent data hub project to break down “data silos” and create a new ecosystem of coordinated development between business, data, and technology.

As a strategic project for Yantai Bank’s intelligent transformation, the initiative innovatively combines a lakehouse architecture with advanced frameworks, building a full-chain system covering data ingestion, sharing, and service. By creating user-friendly data portals and highly collaborative DevOps platforms, it integrates the bank’s data resources, forming standardized and systematic data assets. This has strongly driven the deep integration of data, technology, and business—essentially constructing Yantai Bank’s “data highway.”

By the end of March 2025, the intelligent data hub project was fully launched, delivering five major breakthroughs that established a benchmark for data-driven banking transformation:

1. Upgraded Data Service Capabilities

Built a unified DataOps platform and enterprise-wide data portal, integrating resources, breaking silos, and providing consistent analytics, visualization, asset, and multidimensional query services to directly empower business decisions.

2. Refined Data Asset System

Managed over 4,000 data assets (indicators, reports, labels, models, etc.), developed 10+ data quality control scenarios, and ensured accuracy through dual technical and business validation. Achieved centralized management, efficient reuse, and large-scale value release while advancing governance.

3. Optimized Technical Architecture

Constructed a lakehouse-integrated platform with multimodal storage engines, supporting both batch and streaming processing. Adopted layered architecture (ingestion/sharing/service) with elastic scalability for efficient asset management and agile business innovation.

4. Business Scenario Empowerment

Enabled real-time dashboards and data portals for multidimensional asset monitoring, serving as a “barometer” for operations. Focused on core reports for fast insights and precise decision-making, driving business value conversion.

5. Significant Cost Reduction and Efficiency Gains

Cross-department workflows were reduced from 7 person-days before deployment (with inconsistencies) to 1 person-day post-deployment—improving efficiency sevenfold. Centralized management delivered significant operational benefits, showcasing the core value of a middle platform in “cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and empowerment.”

Multiple Products and Solutions Endorsed by CAICT

During the event, CAICT officially released the “Panoramic Map of High-Quality Digital Transformation Products and Services (First Half of 2025)”. The map highlights domestic enterprises with outstanding market performance and commercial value, aiming to provide a benchmark reference for digital transformation across industries.

After rigorous evaluation by CAICT experts, Sunline’s flagship product DataMind – Intelligent Integration Platform was highly recognized. Sunline was listed across five core categories—“AI Large Models,” “Intelligent Agents,” “Data Elements and Applications,” “Data Governance,” and “Data Analytics”—making it one of the few companies nationwide to cover all five. This serves as authoritative validation of Sunline’s strong capabilities in digital transformation services.

In addition, two of Sunline’s technical solutionsDataMind and the Unified Regulatory Reporting System—were also included in CAICT’s “High-Quality Digital Transformation Technology Solution Collection (2025)”, further demonstrating advanced architecture, innovative application, and high promotion value.

At the roundtable forum, Sunline’s Head of Data Business Solutions emphasized DataMind’s alignment with the upcoming 16th Five-Year Plan (十五五) digitalization trends:

The plan is expected to raise higher requirements for financial institutions in areas such as independent controllability, security compliance, and deeper data value creation. Traditional “patchwork” solutions can no longer meet these demands. DataMind is positioned to become the “intelligent brain” of financial institutions—simplifying engineering through platformization, improving timeliness with real-time capabilities, enhancing sharing through service orientation, and linking business with scenario-based applications. This helps financial institutions build the intelligent data core capabilities required under the 16th Five-Year Plan.

Looking ahead

Sunline will continue to drive innovation, leveraging its end-to-end big data solutions spanning intelligent integration platforms, data resource management, data service management, data application management, and data asset management. The company aims to accelerate the deep integration and innovative application of data in the financial industry, injecting new momentum into the sector’s high-quality development.
