Liuzhou Bank has officially launched its next-generation core banking system, marking a seamless transition to a modern, high-performance infrastructure.
Developed in collaboration with Sunline, the successful rollout represents a significant milestone in the bank's mission to achieve full technological autonomy, accelerate digital transformation, and sharpen its competitive edge.

Building a Modern Digital Foundation
The project originated in August 2023 as part of the bank’s ambitious project. Liuzhou Bank has officially partnered with Sunline to spearhead on the core system by November 2023.
Moving away from legacy constraints, the new system leverages a cloud-native, microservices-based, and distributed database architecture. This sophisticated framework decouples business models to streamline core financial functions, allowing the bank to assemble transactions rapidly through microservice centers. This agility ensures the bank can respond to market fluctuations and significantly shorten product development cycles.
15 Months of Innovation
Following 15 months of intensive development, the joint team has delivered a high-availability, high-reliability system that serves as a benchmark for regional bank transformation. The new core is defined by four strategic pillars: Enhanced Service Efficiency, Unified Product Management, Full-Stack Autonomy, and Agile Architecture. "The successful launch of our next-generation core system is a pivotal milestone in the history of Liuzhou Bank," said Xie Bin, Chairman of Liuzhou Bank, during the project's celebratory ceremony.
Key Technical & Operational Breakthroughs
- Elevated Service Efficiency: The system has optimized end-to-end business processes. Daily batch processing speeds are now 1.7 times faster than the previous system, translating to a quicker and more seamless experience for customers.
- Unified Product Management: By standardizing foundational products and normalizing management workflows, the bank’s staff can now innovate financial products rapidly to meet personalized customer demands with precision.
- Full-Stack Autonomy: The system achieves complete localized adaptation—from the underlying database to application components. This establishes a self-controllable technical standard that reinforces financial security and provides a robust "digital pedestal" for high-quality growth.
- Agile Distributed Architecture: Built on five major capability hubs (Accounting, Product, Public, Parameter, and Pricing), the microservices-based architecture supports unlimited dynamic scaling. This ensures the bank can expand its operations and market presence without infrastructure bottlenecks.
A Future-Ready Partnership
As Liuzhou Bank enters this new chapter, Sunline remains committed to supporting the bank’s ongoing digital evolution. By prioritizing security and controllable technology, Sunline aims to turn technological innovation into a permanent engine for the bank’s business growth.
