Sunline recently participated in the 13th Huawei Intelligent Finance Summit (HiFS 2025) in Dongguan, China, to officially launch a joint Data & AI-Powered Core Banking Solution in collaboration with Huawei under the RongHai Partner Program. Representing Sunline at the launch ceremony was Sales President Ruby Zhou. This joint release marks a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing intelligent core banking through deep technology integration and forward-looking innovation.
As a core partner in the RongHai ecosystem, Sunline works closely with Huawei to co-develop scalable, cloud-native, and AI-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of financial institutions across Asia and beyond. Our jointly developed solution—built on SunCBS and deeply integrated with Huawei’s GaussDB, CCE, and AOM—enables banks to transition from monolithic architectures to modular, distributed core systems that deliver real-time performance, operational resilience, and intelligent automation.
This launch reinforces our strategic vision to help banks accelerate modernization while achieving greater agility, compliance, and cost-efficiency—laying the foundation for a truly intelligent core banking environment.
Charley Dou Shares Sunline’s GenAI-Driven Vision for Core Modernization at HiFS 2025
At the roundtable discussion sessions of HiFS, Charley Dou, Vice President of Technical Solutions at Sunline, shared key insights into the future of core banking architecture and modernization—highlighting Sunline’s continuous innovation in building resilient, intelligent, and scalable financial systems that are ready for the GenAI era.
“Will your bank cling to the past or embrace the future?” said Charley. “With Huawei and Sunline—let’s build it together.”
Charley introduced SunCBS, Sunline’s next-generation core banking platform, built on a proprietary unitized architecture—a cloud-native framework that merges microservices with intelligent data sharding to overcome the complexity of distributed systems. In partnership with Huawei Cloud’s CCE, AOM, and GaussDB, this architecture has enabled a leading Southeast Asian bank to scale to over 200 million customers, while in China, it currently supports more than 600 million customers and 2 billion daily transactions through active-active, multi-data center deployments, delivering high availability and zero downtime.
Expanding on our modernization strategy, Charley outlined a framework based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and TOGAF, enabling phased decoupling of legacy systems, secure data migration, and deployment of GenAI-powered components. Central to this evolution is DataMind, Sunline’s intelligent data platform, which brings real-time analytics, contextual decisioning, and adaptive product orchestration into the core banking layer—enhancing both operational agility and customer experience.
Using Kafka-based multi-core routing, modular deployment, and real-time data aggregation, SunCBS ensures that financial institutions can evolve without disruption—enabling a seamless transition into a smarter banking era.
Pioneering the Future of Intelligent Finance
At Sunline, we remain committed to advancing the next generation of core banking transformation through continuous innovation, deep domain expertise, and strategic collaboration across the financial technology ecosystem. Our participation at HiFS 2025 and the official launch of our joint solution under the RongHai Partner Program reflect our broader vision—to empower banks with cloud-native, microservices-driven, and GenAI-enabled architectures that redefine agility, resilience, and intelligence at the core.
From distributed deployment frameworks to real-time data intelligence and composable banking capabilities, Sunline is at the forefront of delivering future-ready core systems that not only meet today’s operational demands but also equip financial institutions to lead with confidence in the era of intelligent finance.
